Artist Statement
Photograph from a 2009 installation Be Very Afraid. An exhibition timed to coincide with the end of the Royal Commission into Child Sexual Abuse. Ironically what started out as a heavy topic turned into this work made of chicken wire which looks like children’s underpants. I called it ‘Bloomers’ for the irony.

The original size of the work was 2m W and 1.4 H.
